The Building of Magical Cities. Things I find inspiring, shocking, funny, or just beautiful.
This book was removed from circulation at one of the libraries in my state in response to a customer complaint. Apparently it’s pretty sexually explicit and homoerotic, but I’m wondering how that makes it different from libraries’ Urban Fiction or Romance novels, which are both kind of borderline porn anyway, and which libraries stock nonetheless. One of the other library systems in my state removed Fifty Shades of Gray from their collections recently too. Are libraries starting to become lax in response to censorship efforts?
